Never purchased a used phone before so far so good.

Never purchased a used phone before so I was a bit apprehensive. I chose an iPhone 15 pro in new condition. The phone needed some updating in order to transfer data from the old iPhone. All parts are original. I would not have been comfortable with a non original battery. Too early to say if it’s a great buy but so far so good.

Quick turnaround when I sent back the…

Quick turnaround when I sent back the 1st phone as it was not what I wanted. I wanted 1 with just an actual SIM card, not an e-sim card. I have not got the new mobile yet, so cannot say if it will be the correct one, but I am sure it will be.

Gaming-ready ASUS phones with a 30-day free trial

Refurbished ASUS phones offer an alternative to the usual flagship choices, at up to 40% less than new. Refurbished means a pre-owned phone has been tested, cleaned and repaired where needed by experts, then sold with a warranty. The page features the ASUS ROG Phone 5s and the ASUS ZenFone 8, two phones with very different personalities. - Save up to 40% vs new: a distinctive phone for less. - Min 12-month warranty: reassurance on every purchase. - 30-day free trial: check it fits your hands and habits. - Free returns and delivery included: no extras at checkout. - Flexible payment methods: pay your way.

Who picks an ASUS phone

  • Mobile gamers: the ROG Phone line is made with gaming in mind.
  • Compact phone fans: the ZenFone 8 is known for a smaller size than many rivals.
  • Android enthusiasts: people who like to try something beyond the biggest names.
  • Second-phone buyers: a gaming or travel phone alongside a work device.
  • Curious shoppers: anyone who wants a phone that stands out from the crowd.

How to choose an ASUS phone

ROG Phone or ZenFone

The ROG Phone 5s is the gaming-focused option, while the ZenFone 8 is the everyday, pocket-friendly one. Think about whether you play often or simply want a compact phone. Because the page lists only two models, it is easy to compare them side by side and see which one matches how you use your phone.

Size and handling

Handle matters in daily use. If one-handed use is important, compare the dimensions in the listing carefully.

Storage

Check storage against how many apps, games and photos you carry. Games in particular can take a lot of space, and it is worth leaving some room for updates and photos.

Accessories

Check what is included in the listing, and consider a case and a charger that fits your phone.

Condition

Each listing shows one of four grades: - Premium: looks identical to new, works like new, and the battery holds at least 90% of the capacity of a new battery. - Excellent: looks like new and works like new. - Very Good: slight signs of wear, works like new. - Good: some signs of wear, works like new.

For Excellent, Very Good and Good, the battery holds at least 85% of the capacity of a new battery. Some products can be bought with a new battery.

Refurbished vs new

A refurbished ASUS phone can save you up to 40% vs new. It is also more sustainable vs new. According to refurbed’s calculation, refurbished smartphones save on average 82% of CO₂ emissions per device compared with new ones, about 63 kg, and cut electronic waste by 76%. refurbed’s calculation is verified by an independent third party, GutCert, in accordance with ISO 14040/44.

Refurbished vs second hand

A second hand phone from a private seller usually has no warranty, no tested condition and no battery information. With refurbed, each phone is refurbished by experts, graded and covered by a min 12-month warranty.
